Filipino Jailed For Immigration Offence
By Maiai FadieyRizai & Rol Ezam

Bandar Seri Begawan - A 54-year-old Filipino was jailed for one month after pleading guilty to possessing a forged endorsement in his passport.

Ang Guirelleto Bocayong was arrested at the Serasa Ferry Terminal on September 23 this year when he tried to leave the country for Labuan.

However, as he produced his passport for departure clearance at the immigration Control Post at the ferry terminal, the officer found a forged `permitted to leave pass' in the defendant's passport. He admitted this to the officers during investigations. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
