Mukim Liang Holds Maya Celebration

Bandar Seri Begawan - Although it is the third week of Hari Raya Aidilfitri, people in the Sultanate are still in the mood to celebrate.

Last Sunday morning, a get-together for communities in Mukim Liang was organised by the Kampong Consultative Council. Various forms of entertainment were held including a lucky draw.

The chief guest was Shahminan bin Hj Tengah, the assistant Belait district officer. The-village head of Sungai Liang, Hj Mohd Azmi bin Abdullah and other top officials from BLNG also attended the event. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
