Hari Raya Gathering In Sg Liang

Bandar Seri Begawan - The Sungai Liang Consultative Council members organised a Hari Raya gathering at the village hall recently.

Attending the ceremony as chief guest was Assistant Belait District Officer, Awang Shahminan bin Hj Tengah, who was accompanied by his wife.

Sungai Liang village head, Awang Hj Azmi bin Abdullah, in his welcoming speech urged all Sungai Liang villagers to support the activities organised by the Village Consultative Council.

The chief guest then presented prizes to winners of a lucky draw. Prizes were sponsored by BLNG.

Also attending the ceremony were Penghulu of Mukim Liang, Awang Hj Abdul Hamid bin Momin, 3,030 members of the Sungai Liang scout troop and Sungai Liang villagers. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
