$7, 777 Easi Cash For Abd Rahman

Bandar Seri Begawan - Awang Abd Rahman bin Hj Chuchu wants to treat his family to a fancy restaurant after he was picked as the grand prize winner of $7,777 cash for the month of October in the Easi 7th anniversary Promotion "Scratch, Recharge and Win Cash" Bonanza yesterday.

The teacher from a religious school was overjoyed and said "I was surprised when they called my mobile number, I didn't expect to win the grand prize."

The second grand prize went to Awang Zool Syahirmmy bin Hj Bahmin who went home with $3,777 and Awang Zaini bin Jahad took home $2,777 for the third grand prize.

The prize presentation took place at the DST Group headquarters in Tungku Link and on hand to select and hand out the grand prizes was Awang Hj Yakob bin Hj Yusof, a member of the board of directors of DST Group.

Besides the top three grand, prizes, another 21 winners attended the ceremony and received prizes of $ 100 cash in hand on top of Easi recharge cards in denomination of $100, $40 and $20 during the lucky draw.

The Easi cash bonanza promotion began from 1st March and ended on October 31, 2006, as part of DSTCom's initiatives to thank and reward all Easi subscribers for their patronage and support of its service throughout the years.

From the preliminary draw of 777 winners, subsequently top 24 winners were handpicked to be eligible for the grand draw from the pool of entries.
