Fond Farewell For Crown Prince

Begawan- His Royal Highness Prince Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah, the
Crown Prince and Senior Minister at the Prime Minister's Office and
Her Royal Highness Pengiran Anak Isteri Pengiran Anak Sarah were bid a
fond farewell when they concluded their official visit to the Republic
of the Philippines.
Their Royal Highnesses were seen off
, at the Bulwagan Kalayaan Villamor Airbase by Brigadier General
Rolando Capacia, Wing Commander of the Philippine Armed Forces and Yen
Macabenta, chairman of the Philippine Billiards and Snooker Congress.
Also present were Virginia H
Benavidez, Ambassador of the Philippines to Brunei Darussalam, and
Emaleen Abdul Rahman Teo, Ambassador of Brunei Darussalam to the
Philippines.
His Royal Highness Prince Haji Al-Muhtadee
Billah was in Manila to compete as a firsttimer in the World Pool
Championships earlier this week, where he wowed both spectators and
players alike with his prowess.
Although he lost after a narrow 8-5
defeat by world-class player Francisco Bustamante, the Crown Prince
has inspired other Bruneian pool players with his skills.
His Royal Highness later paid a visit
to the operations centre of the Philippines' National Disaster
Coordinating Council (NDCC) in Aguinaldo Camp in Manila, where he
received a briefing on the council's Disaster Management System and
related facilities.
Their Royal Highnesses also accepted
an invitation from Philippines President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo to
discuss bilateral relations between Brunei and the Philippines.
Her Royal Highness also bore witness
to the awarding of the Philippines' prestigious Order of Lakandula to
her husband, in recognition of his leadership and dedication to his
post.
Their Royal Highnesses were
accompanied throughout their visit by Yang Amat Mulia Pengiran Muda
