Microsoft Appoints TechDistribution As Authorised Distributor In Brunei

Bandar Seri Begawan - Microsoft appointed TechDistribution Ltd as its authorised distributor for Brunei in a launching ceremony held yesterday at the Orchid Garden Hotel. Among those present were Mr Lars Jeppesen, CEO of Tech Distribution, as well as its senior officials and local IT resellers.

The company is based in British Virgin Island. A valuable presentation on the `Introduction to Microsoft Partner Programme' was delivered by Mr Haja Sheriff, Director-Partner Group, Microsoft Southeast Asia.

Mr Lars Jeppesen and Mr Wasantha Weerakoone, Managing Director of TechDistribution Sri Lanka, being veterans in IT distribution, also shared their experiences with the Brunei IT reseller channel.

According to Mr Arjuna Ranasinghe, General Manager of TechDistribution, the company adds value to the IT reseller channel by offering training on Microsoft products and licensing, apart from the timely quotations and faster local delivery.

The IT resellers can also get online technical support through the reseller technical support centre in TechDistribution Sri Lanka. TechDistribution will soon be offering pre-sales and post-sales technical support locally in Brunei, and this will be beneficial for the local IT resellers.
