Bank Customers Win Trip

Bandar Seri Begawan - Three HSBC Premier customers yesterday left for an all-expenses paid trip to Shanghai to watch the HSBC Champions Golf Tournament from Nov 9 to 12.

Tiger Woods, last year's runner up at the Shesan International Golf Club, is among the golfers in action. Brunei customers Hong Jang Kue, Dr Than Mating Han and William Oliver Ferguson each won a travel package of two round-trip air tickets to Shanghai, hotel accommodation at the Four Seasons Hotel and entry passes to exclusive tournament viewing in a lucky draw in Hong Kong last month.

They will see top international golfers in the US$5 million golf tournament, which offers the largest prize money in Asia, at the Shesan International Golf Club in Shanghai.

At the airport to bid farewell to the customers were Dk Hamidah Pg Haji Othman, manager of Personal Financial Services Sales and Support, and customers' relationship managers and Chief Operating Officer Matthew Martin.

The regional acquisition promotion was offered to new HSBC Premier customers who signed up in August 2006.

The offer was opened to new Premier customers in 13 countries and territories in Asia-Pacific, who were eligible for 100 prizes, including travel packages and entry passes to The HSBC Champions Tournament.  -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
