Students Visit Abattoir

Bandar Seri Begawan - Chung Ching Primary Six students recently visited PDS Abattoir. The officer-in-charge explained the processes involved in sausage and corned beef making.

The students were shown how the products are preserved in a big freezer with a temperature below 0 degrees Celsius.

Before touring the plant, the students were asked to wear head covers, shoe covers and white long gowns. The students washed their hands and feet before entering the plant. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
