Faculty Of Business Holds Raya Get-Together

Bandar Seri Begawan - The Faculty of Business, Economics and Public Policy Studies (FBEPS) of Universiti Brunei Darussalam recently held a Hari Raya get-together for its students and staff.

Held as an annual event on the faculty's calendar, the festive event was well received and had exceeded the expectations of the organisers. Organised by FBEPS' Student Councils and Committees and led by their newly appointed president, Ak Md Khairul, the celebration attracted a huge crowd who was treated to various types of traditional cuisine and 'kuih-muih' accompanied by festive music.

Gernot Stuhl, an Austrian who is a third-year student in Economics at FBEPS, said that it is his first time taking part in a Hari Raya celebration and he was impressed with the colourful and heart-warming festivities.

Fadzil, an in-service third year student in Public Policy and Administration, said the get-together is good for `stress management' as it is good to see students relaxing despite their end-of-year exams which is just around the corner. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
