Six Teens Nabbed In Temburong For
Thefts

Begawan - Temburong District Police recently apprehended six
teenagers in connection with recent theft cases.
In the last four days, seven cases of
theft were reported in Jin Maul.ana in Kuala Belait, at an ATM and a
workshop also in KB, a shop at Jin Bolkiah in Seria, an agricultural
site in Kg Bengkurong-Masin, a housing site in Kg Meragang,and another
site at Jln Kumbang Pasang. Items lost included a mountain bike, B$400
cash and 69- and 35metre cables.
Another seven theft cases were
recorded in Ban I in Kg Mulaut, a-bank in Tungku Link, Wisma Jaya in
the capital, Jln Hj Halus in Bunut, J1n Pasir Berakas, Hypermart in
Gadong and the jetty of Marine Department. Items lost included two
mobile phones, B$50 cash, important documents, a grass cutter, a gas
cylinder, 10 clothes, a petty cash box containing B$2,440.39 and 21
pieces of window equipment.
Meanwhile five car break-ins and
thefts' were recorded
and three cars were reported missing,
namely a Toyota Corona, Toyota Cressida and a Mitsibushi Minibus.
Three houses were broken into at Lambak Kanan Housing, Jefri Bolkiah
College of Engineering and in Kg Kiarong-Gadong. ; Items lost included
a Playstation game, two TV sets, three cable-welding machines, a VCD
player, one radio, one video cassette player, one kettle, one fruit
blender and a camera.
One rape case was also lodged to the
police whereby it the suspect pleads guilty to the charge of raping a
14-yearold -girl, he could face an imprisonment of not less than eight
years and not more than 30 years and 12 strokes of, the cane.
Other recent cases include one fraud,
three vandalism, one SMS disturbance and two assault cases, along with
two fire cases - one in Kg Sungai Lalit, Belait District and another
behind a departmental store shop in Gadong.
One labour case, four misuses of
drugs cases involving, four men and a woman, three Customs cases
involving two men and one. Immigration case involving two foreign men
