Three Months Behind Bars For Cross Dresser

Bandar Seri Begawan - A 29-year-old cross dresser was sentenced to three months in jail yesterday.

Ali Rahman bin Abdullah, a permanent resident, was found loitering around the mufti-storey car park in the capital on February 6, 2004.

CID police from the Central Police Station immediately arrested Ali Rahman when they saw him dressed in women's clothing. Furthermore, cosmetic items were found in Ali Rahman's handbag.

Investigations revealed that the defendant had offered sexual favours for $20 per session. According to police records, he had committed a similar offence in 2003.  -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
