Thai PM To Visit Brunei Tomorrow
Bangkok -
Thailand's army-installed premier will visit Brunei and Singapore this
week in a fresh round of diplomatic visits aimed at reassuring
neighbours after the recent coup, the government said Tuesday.

Chuanont will travel to Brunei's capital early Thursday and is
scheduled to meet with His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of
Brunei Darussalam before leaving for Singapore later in the day.
"Prime Minister Surayud will make
official visits to Singapore and Brunei on November 9 at the
invitation of the governments of those countries," the foreign
ministry said in a statement.
"Surayud aims to explain the
political situation in Thailand to his counterpart in Brunei and the
government's attempt to deal with violence in the south with peaceful
means," the statement said.
Sources said Surayud will brief
Brunei about the political situations in Thailand and the government's
attempts to solve the violence in the southern provinces by peaceful
