Culture And Tradition Introduced At Open House

Bandar Seri Begawan - About 500 people attended the two-day open house at the residence of Mashhor Group of Companies Chairman Malai Haji Abdul Hamid bin Malai Haji Mashhor over the 'weekend. The Hari Raya open house is held annually to establish friendly relations and to strengthen solidarity, the host said.

The festivity is an opportunity to foster relations and introduce Hari Raya traditions and cultures to business associates of different races and nationalities, he added.

Guests included the Belait District Officer, chiefs. and heads of villages, mosque takmir members, the BSP managing director, government officials and staff, senior officials from financial institutions, private companies and associations, and members of the public. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
