Girl Guides To Join Asia Pacific
Leadership Workshop In Cambodia

Begawan - A four-member delegation from the Brunei Darussalam
Girl Guides Association left for Cambodia yesterday to participate in
the Asia Pacific Strategic Leadership Workshop held from November 6 to
10.
The Brunei delegation is led by Hjh
Siti Hafsah Hj Abd Halim and is accompanied by a member of WAGGGS Asia
Pacific in Cambodia, the delegates will today be attending the opening
ceremony for the workshop. There will also be a panel discussion and
an open forum on the opening day.
The workshop also features a bazaar
in which delegates have been invited to participate by bringing in
items for sale, with each item not exceeding US$ 10 in price. ,
All proceeds from the Bazaar will go
to the Asia Pacific Regional Fund with a percentage to be donated to
the Girl Guides Association of Cambodia.
On November 7, the Brunei Girl Guide
delegates will participate in the workshop that focuses on "leadership
today". Topics include leadership styles, governance, communication
and delegation as well as bringing change and influencing attitudes.
On November 9, participants will be
attending the plenary session to explore ways to strengthen the member
organisations based on the knowledge gained at the workshop, including
changes in management strategies.
On the final day of the workshop the
Girl Guides Association of Cambodia will organise a tour of several
