By Rosli Abidin Yahya

Bandar Seri Begawan - A jogger lost more than calories while jogging at the Damuan Recreational Park in Jalan Tutong when she discovered that her mobile phone and a sling bag containing a wallet, personal documents and clothes had gone missing after the car driven by her friend was broken into on Friday night.

Burglars allegedly used a rock to break one of the side windows to open the back door of the vehicle where the jogger had kept here belongings.

Fortunately for the couple, the burglars were in a hurry to finish their job as they left her friend's wallet, mobile phone and personal documents virtually untouched.

They reported the break-in at the Bandar Seri Begawan Police Station and contacted a bank on the loss of a credit card and savings book.

Police had earlier warned motorists and their passengers not leave cash and personal belongings inside cars while jogging or performing prayers at mosques. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
