All About Remote Control Car Contest

Bandar Seri Begawan - More than 20 Nissan Latio car owners participating in the Latin Remote Control Car Competition attended a briefing session yesterday.

Felix Chong spelled out the competition's timetable, programmes, requirements and prizes for winners. The competition is part of the Boustead Hari Raya Family Day 2006.

There will be a half-day training session on Nov 9. Radio control car racing participants will also be competing in beautifying their cars.

The most voted car for beauty will win $100 for P`, $50 for 2nd and $20 for 3rd place.

The competition is expected to attract 60 contestants.

The preliminary round is on Nov 10, where 12 best drivers with the fastest time will challenge in the final round on Nov 11, from 7pm. At stake is $1,000 for Pt and $500 for 2nd place. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
