Picasso Kids' gift of giving
By James Kon

Monkey made of love and good
intentions.
Jigsaw Playschool children raised
$2200 to feed and send to school 22 children for one whole year
through the Picasso Kids for Kids initiative.
The children made 22 craftwork
monkeys to be adopted by the Core Value Training Class to raise funds
for the needy children. The participants came from Brunei, Singapore,
China and the United States. Each monkey was lovingly adopted and $100
contributed for the needy children.
The Picasso children are hopeful of
creating more craftwork to donate for the cause.
They are making another 100 monkeys
for "adoption" to help needy children. They also hope to raise the
awareness and inspire other children to follow suit.
We intend to have their craftwork
travel internationally to Core Value Training events.
In the near future, we envision their
fund raising efforts will extend to help fellow Bruneian children and
to children in other poorer countries, said Aida Yassin, Head Teacher
at Jigsaw Playschool Kiarong, She had participated in Core Value
Training with leading personal development and motivational coach,
Linda Chandler.
What teacher Aida learned in her
class, she shared with her students .
She taught children to start each day
with a positive outlook and a powerful intention: "Today is the best
day of my life" to give the mind a powerful mission to fulfil that
intention.
