Tamin Products Available In The Market

Bandar Seri Begawan - Kicap Tamin (Tamin sauce) brand, which has been established in Malaysia more than 55 years ago, is now available in major supermarkets in the country.

The products are made available after Syarikat Salmi Hj Tamin Sdn Bhd from Malaysia appointed Ying Bee Company, a subsidiary of Bee Seng Group, as sole distributor in Brunei market.

Allex L Kawang, SM Executive of Ying Bee Company said that the firm is confident the products will be wellreceived in the local market as they are produced and manufactured by a Malay company in Malaysia and is 100 per cent `halal'.

At the moment the company only imports 12 different kinds of Tamin sauce that include Kicap Lemak Manis, Kicap Putri and Putera, Cuka as well as Soya Sauce Mee, which they believe are in great demand among the public here. "We are going to bring in other Tamin brand products such as Chili, Tomato and Rojak sauces to Brunei", said Allex.

To further promote the products, the company will be holding a cooking demonstration on the _first week of December with the aim of creating greater awareness among local consumers on Tamin products and their quality.

Kicap Tamin (Tamin Sauce) reputation as a producer of quality sauce is fast gaining world recognition. The products are also sold in Japan, the United Kingdom and Maldives.
