ISB Celebrates Ancient Egypt Day

Bandar Seri Begawan - Year 3 children of International School Brunei on Wednesday held an "Ancient Egypt Day" as a way to celebrate the end of their unit of work, according to a press release.

Over the last few weeks, the children had been fascinated with the ancient kingdom and shown a great deal of interest in it as well as the process of mummification, Pharaohs, River Nile and everyday life for ancient Egyptians.

Last Wednesday, they dressed up as Pharaohs, queens and slaves, and shared a healthy Egyptian snack.

Classes around the school visited the Year 3 section and took part in various activities ranging from embalming to drawing Egyptian portraits to writing messages using hieroglyphs. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
