Deputy Minister Of Religious Affairs Visits Kg Bebuloh

Bandar Seri Begawan - The Deputy Minister of Religious Affairs, Pehin Dato Paduka Seri Setia Ustaz Hj Badaruddin Pengarah Dato Paduka Hj Othman, and wife yesterday continued their programme of visiting the homes of Muslim converts in Brunei-Muara District in conjunction with the Hari Raya Aidilfitri celebration.

The Deputy Minister's delegation yesterday visited five houses in Kg Bebuloh. Two of the families are currently living in houses under government assistance through the Islamic Dakwah Centre and two others reside in houses with assistance from the Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah.

Joining the delegates were Yayasan's Managing Director Dato Paduka Hj Ali Hashim Hj Mohd Daud, Secretary of the Brunei Islamic Religious Council Pg Hj Bahrom Pg Hj Bahar, Islamic Dakwah Centre's Acting Assistant Director - Hj Mohammad Hj Gating, as well as senior officers from the Ministry of Religious Affairs as well as Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah.

Their first visit was to the Head of Kg Bebuloh, Muhd Sa'id Adbullah Tundak, aDusun who embraced Islam back in 1997 with his wife and children.

They then visited the homes of Muhd Sandurin Abdullah, Muhd Izzul Islam Abdullah, Muhd Harridan Muhd Hanafi and Dyg Hiadiyah Abdullah.

The visits, which brought smiles to many people, ended with a mass prayer and lunch at the Rumah Kegiatan Ugama Lampung Bebuloh. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
