In the small-scale gardening category, Belgium beat all the other countries with its coiled shell-shaped garden filled with local flowers.

The expo, which, is being held at the 80-hectare Mae Hia of Chiang Mai's Muang District, comprises over 3.4 million tries from 35 countries.

The expo will run until the end of Jan 2007, where around 30,000 visitors are expected to visit the garden daily.  -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
