By Malai FadleyRizal

Bandar Seri Begawan - A local woman holding the position of a director at Goldmyn Hardware Sdn Bhd was fined $3,000 or three months' jail in default after she pleaded guilty on behalf of the company to employing an immigration offender.

Dayang Rosnah binti Talip, 46, admitted to employing 21 -year-old Natasha Chung from Malaysia, who was being trained for a marketing executive position at the company.

Following a tip-off, Immigration Enforcement personnel inspected the workers at the shop in Kg Mata-Mata on November 21 last year, where they found that the Malaysian woman was working under a social visit pass.  -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
