Raya Festivity At Yayasan Primary School

Bandar Seri Begawan - As raya mood is still in the air, hundreds of students accompanied by their teachers celebrated Hari Raya Aidilfitri at Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Primary School yesterday morning.

The festive celebration, which is one ofthe annual school activities, saw more than three hundred students gathered together at the hall to mark the occasion.

Among those present at the festivity yesterday were His Majesty's granddaughters, Pg Anak Raheemah Sanaul Bolkiah (Primary 4 Yellow) and Pg Anak Hariisah Widadul Bolkiah (Primary 1 Pink).

The highlight of the celebration was "Bersalam Salaman" event where all the students lined up on stage to give Raya greetings to their teachers.

All the teachers and students shared the festive joy at the celebration and were also treated to a variety of Raya cakes, food and drinks prepared by the school authority.

Also present at the celebration was the school's principal, Cikgu Hjh Zaiton Binti Abu Bakar.

Besides exchanging Raya greetings, the aim of the celebration was also to strengthen relations among the teachers and students of the school. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
