Car Catches Fire In Accident Along Jalan Kilanas

Bandar Seri Begawan - A car burst into flames after it collided with another vehicle along Jalan Kilanas yesterday evening. The car was allegedly trying to make a U-turn when it was rammed by the oncoming vehicle.

Personnel from the Jerudong Fire Station received the distress call at 5.30pm and rushed to the scene. Eleven personnel, led by ASFR Haji Norsalam bin Haji Jais, managed to bring the fire under control in three minutes. Police personnel also arrived at the scene shortly to control the situation.

According toAsst Supt Pengiran Hj Roslan bin Pengiran Hj Halus, Head of Fire and Rescue Services Investigation Unit, the car that burst into flames was driven by a foreign national while the other was driven by a local.
