Brunei To Be Featured On Malaysian TV Show 'Nona'

Bandar Seri Begawan - The Empire Hotel and Country Club recently hosted representatives of Nona, a popular women's TV programme aired on TV3 Channel, Malaysia.

Upon their arrival at the hotel, Azizah Arrifin, the TV host for Nona, and the TV crew members were welcomed by the hotel's director of PR & Marketing Communications, Jennifer Kang.

A welcoming dinner was also hosted for the group at Spaghettini, where representatives of the co hosts - Royal Brunei Airlines, Sunshine Borneo and Brunei Tourism - also attended.

During their stay in the country, Nona crew filmed and visited key tourist attractions such as Belalong National Park, Bandar Seri Begawan and The Empire Hotel & Country Club.

The group also witnessed the official opening of the

Diving Centre owned by the SCUBA TECH International located at the Marine Centre of the hotel.

An exclusive interview was also arranged for Nona with the Deputy Minister of Ministry of Industry and Primary Resources, Dato Paduka Hj Hamdilah bin Hj Abd Wahab who talked about the developing tourism industry in Brunei as well as plans for the coming year.

Brunei as a tourist destination will be featured in a onehour Nona TV programme schedule to be aired on Sunday, December 11, at 2pm on TV3, Malaysia. Nona TV programme showcases various segments such as fashion, beauty, personalities, travel and current news.

NONA is aired every Sunday and it has a viewer ship of 1.5 million and is broadcasted to Brunei, Malaysia, Singapore and Indonesia.
