Special Individuals Receive Golfing Tips From Empire Hotel's Professional

Bandar Seri Begawan – Five special individuals were given free golf lessons at the driving range of the Empire Hotel and Country Club, Jerudong.

On arrival, the group was greeted by the hotel's golf professional, Allen Kelly, and executive PR Ak Danny.

According to Kelly, giving free golfing tips is part of the initiative to encourage special individuals to try out the sport while preparing them for future sporting events such as the Special Olympics in Shanghai, China in 2007.

Two of the special individuals at the lesson were registered special athletes of the Special Olympics National team.

Kelly also said lessons, which will be personally taught by him along with his team. will be held every Monday. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
