Ministry of Development Holds Berthalil For HM’s Late Parents

Bandar Seri Begawan – The officers and staff of the Ministry of Development held a Berthalil ceremony at the Royal Mausoleum yesterday.

The ceremony was part of several religious functions and gatherings held to glorify the holy month of Ramadan.

The Tahlil ceremony was for His Majesty’s late parents, Almarhum Sultan Haji Omar Ali Saifuddien Saadul Khairi Waddien and Almarhumah Duli Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Damit.

Dato Dr Awang Haji Ahmad, Minister of Development, led the congregation.

Meanwhile, the Prime Minister’s Office and departments under it continued to hold Majlis Bertadarus at several mosques in the country.

Such function was held at the Kampong Belimbing Subok Mosque.

Among those in the congregation was Pehin Dato Ustaz Awang Haji Abdul Aziz, State Mufti, permanent secretaries at the Prime Minister’s Office, deputy permanent secretaries, heads of department and staff at the Prime Minister’s Office as well as residents of Kampong Belimbing Subok.
