Takara restaurant offers Japanese-style ‘Sungkai' buffet

With so many Sungkai promotions currently offered by restaurants all over Brunei, fasting Muslims have quite a wholesome of special food to choose from to break their fast. Then why not settle for the special Japanese-style 'Sungkai' promotion currently offered by the Takara Restaurant at Centrepoint.

Takara Japanese Restaurant now offers a variety of wholesome Japanese food buffet costing $22.88 for adults and $14.88 for children as well as a full course Bento set dinner at $15 per set.

The full course Bento set dinner is available from Monday to Thursday and it includes the traditional 'air bandung' and 'kurma', starter, three main dishes as well as dessert. Each set prepared is varies daily to meet the customers' demand for choices.

Main dishes for the Bento set include salad, mixed Tempura, squid rings or salmon Teriyaki. Appetisers also range from either handrolls, Sashimi, Maki, cold or hot noodles.

The buffet dinner, which is only available every Friday to Sunday features a variety of dishes which include sushi and sashimi artfully created by the sushi chefs from the sushi bar, Japanese main dishes such as Chicken Teriyaki, Seafood Tempura, Salmon Tepanyaki as well as dessert ranging from ice cream, red bean with glutinous rice, fruits and local kuehs.
