Sultan leaves Cambodia

 


A 'doa selamat' prayer being read before His Majesty's departure.

His Majesty, the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam left Phnom Penh yesterday morning for Brunei Darussalam after the completion of the Eight Asean Summit. Also accompanying His Majesty was His Royal Highness Prince Mohamed Bolkiah, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Brunei Darussalam.

Present at the Pochentong International Airport to bid farewell to His Majesty were Sok Ann, Senior Minister and a Minister in the Cabinet Office, as well as other officials from the Cambodian government. Also present at the airport were Awang Zainidi bin Hj Sidup, Ambassador of Brunei Darussalam to Cambodia and officers of the Embassy.

Before departure, a 'doa selamat' prayer was read by Pehin Datu Seri Maharaja Dato Paduka Seri Setia Ustaz Hj Awang Abdul Aziz bin Juned, the State Mufti.

The next Asean summit will be held in Bali, Indonesia.
