Lexus IS300 Steals The Limelight

Bandar Seri Begawan - All eyes were
on Lexus' new I5300 yesterday, as throngs of people visited the NBT
Lexus showroom in Gadong yesterday.

The all-new
IS300 2009, which is powered by a three-litre V6 24-Valve (VVT-i)
engine, is fitted with a six-speed A/T transmission and an
electronic fuel injection fuel system.
According to Mr. Aron Wong,
the Manager of NBT Lexus, the company currently has "very
well specified" I S300 models in stock. He added that the
models for the Brunei market were awarded the "2008
IntelliChoic.com Best Overall Value of the Year Award". Mr.
Wong said that Lexus15300 customers who purchased and
registered their vehicles within the promotion period (May
18 to June 14) will receive a complimentary Super GT Sepang
2009 Series package (with pit lane access from NBT). |
According to NBT Lexus, the winner of yesterday's lucky
draw was Mr Wong Kim Leong of Seng Hoe Huat Auto
Accessories Service Co.
Thirteen selected
owners of 2007 I S300 were invited to display their
vehicles at yesterday's event. Two local artistes - Feez
Medea and JuJu belted out a number of hits during the
colourful event including their singles "Hujan" and
"Remember".
The 200915300 model
measures 4,585 mm in length, 1,800 mm wide and 1,425 mm
in height. Its maximum output is 170KW (6,200rpm), while
the maximum torque is 300NM (4,400rpm). The OTR (on the
road) price of the car is $73,532. --
