Futsal tourney for Belait primary schools

Twelve government and private primary schools in the Belait district competed in the futsal tournament for primary schools at the sports complex in Mumong.

The tournament was hosted by Sekolah Rendah Sungai Liang to foster friendship among participating teams as well as to promote futsal and a healthy lifestyle through exercise.

The overall title was won by Sekolah Rendah Ahmad Tajuddin. Second place went to Sekolah Rendah Paduka Seri Begawan Sultan Omar Ali Saifuddien. Third place went to Sekolah Rendah PSJ Pg Abdul Momin and Sekolah Rendah Panaga.

The guest of honour was Head of Youth and Sports of Belait District Abang Zamhor bin OKPSD Abang Haji Hanafiah who presented the medals to winners. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
