Camping Activities For Uniform Organisations

Bandar Seri Begawan - The Co-Curriculum Education Department, Ministry of Education will organise the 7th Schools/Colleges Team Uniform Organisation Camp nationwide from May 9 to June 1 at Rampayoh Primary School, Labi in the Belait district

The camping is for members of school/colleges uniform organisation such as Army Cadet, Police Cadet, Fire and Rescue, Scout, Pandu Puteri and Red Crescent in the country.

Team members and supervising teachers who are interested to join the camp are asked to contact Public Relation Section at Co-Curriculum Education Department, Ministry of Education at Jalan 10, Lambak Kanan Housing Scheme, Berakas, by telephone 8900969 / 2333041/ 2333043 or by fax 2332976 /2332977.

Among the activities held during the camp include motivational talks and orientation; hoisting the national flag and morning exercise. There is also a hiking activity to Wasai Wong Kadir and a visit to Mandaram Besar and Teraja longhouses as well as cultural performances.

The camp will be officially launched by Awg Koh Hong Puah, Assistant Director of Secondary Division, Ministry of Education on May 30.

Participants at the end of the camp will be presented a certificate by chief guest Acting Director of Co-Curriculum Education, Awg Ali Bin Hj Ismail. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
