BLNG Ceremony For 14 New OTPS Graduates

Bandar Seri Begawan - Brunei LNG Sdn Bhd and Institut Teknologi Brunei (ITB) yesterday held the BLNG Foundation Course graduation ceremony for 14 new Operative Technician Progression Scheme (OTPS) graduates.

The graduation ceremony was held at Rizqun International Hotel in the presence of BLNG Acting Managing Director Hj Matsatejo Sokiaw as the guest of honour.

The event opened with welcoming remarks delivered by Chairman of the Organising Committee cum ITB School of Engineering Head Dr Hj Faqir Gul.

The night then continued with a speech by the guest of honour, in which he congratulated the successful graduation of the BLNG trainees, and also thanked those involved in developing and implementing the foundation programme, particularly ITB lectures, BLNG line trainers and working group from both ITB and BLNG.

He further highlighted that the young graduates have set a benchmark in the BLNG OTPS Foundation, Programme. The introduction of this foundation programme is one of the many initiatives to create an environment that promotes learning and career development throughout their life, and acts as a win-win partnership between industries and academic institutions, which will further strengthen BLNG's capacity building.
