Crown Prince Presents Charity Golf Prizes

Bandar Seri Begawan - His Royal Highness Prince Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah, the Crown Prince and Senior Minister at the Prime Minister's Office, yesterday consented to present prizes to the winners of this year's Charity Golf Event that collected a total of $28,500.

Taking place at the Royal Brunei Golf and Country Club (RBGCC), the presentation was attended by several golfers who took part in the tournament, as well as sponsors Boustead Sdn Bhd, who provided a range of cars for the hole-in-one prizes. Participants had a chance to win a Nissan X-Trail, a Nissan 350z, a Suzuki Grand Vitara and a Suzuki SX4 if they were able to sink a hole-in-one during the three-day tournament. However, thetournament did not see any golfers hit a hole-in-one.

Crowned as this year's champion was Awangku Md Wirahadikusuma Pengiran Md Salleh who took home a trophy. First runner-up was Seruji Setia, followed by the second runner-up Imay Hendra. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
