Brunei Press Awards Long-Serving Staff

Bandar Seri Begawan - Brunei Press celebrates its 55th its anniversary this year and to commemorate this 51 qualified personnel were yesterday presented ’Long Service Awards.’

The qualified recipient numbers as of March 31, 2007 are as follows: 31 staff qualified for 10 years; nine personnel qualified for 15 years; five staff qualified for 20 years; two personnel qualified for 25 years and 30 years; and one staff member qualified for 35 and 40 years respectively.

The recipients are from different departments within Brunei Press ranging from Accounts to Editorial (Borneo Bulletin and Media Permata), Graphics and Web Production.

According to Brunei Press General Manager Reggie See, the recipients of the long service awards have achieved and proven that they are able to maintain Brunei Press's values, namely - honouring commitment, integrity in service and uphold of trust.

The presentation also provided an opportunity for the company to express its appreciation to all the recipients for their dedication and contribution to Brunei Press over their years of service. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
