‘Bicara Hati' to premiere in Brunei on June 19

Coming soon to a theatre near you The most talked-about movie is set to have its premiere in our very own country.

Thanks to Krisutama Production Sdn Bhd and a joint-cooperation with Pusat Ehsan and RJ Filem Production Sdn Bhd (the producer), Bicara Hati (Conversations of the Heart) will have its premiere showing at the International Convention Centre in Berakas on June 19.

Directed by Datin Hjh Rosnani Jamil and script written by her husband Dato Hj Jamil Sulong, the premier showing is one way of following the advice of HRH the Crown Prince Pg Muda Hj Al-Muhtadee Billah who said that the local population must be sensitive to the needs of the special people, said Pg Shahminan Pg Hj Ismail, the executive chairman of Krisutama.

"Some thirty per cent of the profits will be donated to the Pusat Ehsan as one way of creating awareness to be sensitive to the needs of the special people. The figure may be small but certainly meaningful, and should be enough to lead others to execute similar missions in the future," he said.

Apart from the premiere showing, another side event will also be held on June 18 which is a Film and Artistes Intensive Workshop.

Pg Shahminan said the objective of the workshop is to upgrade the status of local artistes through working papers presented by film figures from Malaysia such as Dato Hj Jamil Sulong, Datin Hjh Rosnani Jamil, Aziz M Osman, Dato Jins Shamsuddin and Aziz Sattar as well as local speakers.

The stars of the film namely Nur Fazura, Zamarul Hisham, Mick Mikhail, Tengku Saheera, Jalaluddin Hassan, Connie and Zek Zaidi will be arriving in the Sultanate on June 17 where they will be staying at the Orchid Garden Hotel in Berakas.

On June 20, fans will be able to have high tea with the stars at the Orchid Garden Hotel.

On June 23, the Tabung Amal Pusat Ehsan will be launched at The Mall, Hua Ho Departmental Store and Supasave as well as at the Empire Hotel and Country Club.

"The donation boxes will be kept at these places for three months to enable everyone to donate to the special people," said Pg Shahminan.
