Certificate presentation at news and magazine workshop

"Quality write up is an article that motivates readers to think and be positive. At the same time it is also a creative writing that contradicts and rebuts seditious writing." This was stated by Dr Haji Ismail bin Hj Duraman, Vice Chancellor of Universiti Brunei Darussalam, who was also the guest of honour at the closing ceremony of general composition literary writing for news magazine workshop, held at Universiti Brunei Darussalam yesterday.

He added that it was the responsibility of writers to eliminate any negative elements or opinions from local or overseas that poison the minds of the community

He said the workshop was one of the continuous efforts made by UBD in implementing its responsibility towards the community.

The workshop also provided opportunity to writers from public and private sectors to improve their skills in literary writing aspect.

The highlight of the ceremony was the presentation of certificates to participants and facilitators of the workshop by the guest of honour.
