Forty Nine New Teachers To Start Career In Religious Schools

Bandar Seri Begawan - Forty nine religious teachers fresh from a three-year training course at the Seri Begawan Religious Teachers Training College will start teaching at various religious schools throughout the country early next month.

A religious ceremony was held yesterday morning to mark the completion of their training at the college.

The trainees comprised 29 men and 20 women teachers. Present at the ceremony was Vice Chancellor of University Brunei Darussalam Doctor Haji Ismail.

A mass presentation of Quranic Verses by both men and women teachers highlighted the gathering.

During their training course, they were assigned to various religious schools to gain practical teaching experience and exposure.
