New VJ on the block

VJ Amanda Griffin. Courtesy Channel [V] International Beautiful Amanda Griffin has added her name to the latest lists of talent for Channel [V]'s list of VJ presenters.

Born to English-Philippine parentage, Amanda has been reaching for her dreams since she has been exposed to the world of show business at the tender age of 12.

Winning the attention of casting agents in the Philippines, Amanda from there on began to appear on a variety of TV commercials some of which include acts for Rejoice, Palmolive and 7-Up.

Academic wise Amanda continued to pursue her education after high school and majored in 3 fields, namely Marketing, Media Studies and Spanish.

After obtaining a Degree in Business/Communication from Bond University, Australia she then began her career in modelling in many countries across various continents.

With such an amazing portfolio, it is no wonder that she continued to appear in many international magazines including Cosmopolitan, Elle, Marie Claire, Seventeen, Preview, City, Cleo, Female, Gold Coast Magazine and Nu-You. Adding to this she also appeared in more TV commercials like Nivea, Carefree, Sunsilk, Avon and many more.

Not abandoning her knowledge in Business, she also managed to start a partnership with her best friend for a boutique, which specialises in a line of swimwear called Tabu Swimwear.

Being very much an outdoor individual, she enjoys vigorous activities such as tennis, horse riding, wake-boarding and travelling. VJ Amanda Griffin is set to take centre stage on Channel [V] International as she continues to captivate viewers worldwide with her natural beauty, sweet charm, talent and on-screen charisma.

Making her debut on Channel [V] International called Smash Hits on March 2003 and appearing in another latest music programme by Channel [V] called One Hit Wonder Amanda reveals her delight and enthusiasm as she starts a new chapter as one of the VJs for Channel [V] International.
