The Royal Brunei Armed Forces will celebrate its 42nd anniversary on the May 31, 2003. The event will take place at the Indoor Stadium in Berakas.

In view of this, a rehearsal was conducted yesterday in the presence of the Deputy Minister of Defence, Pg. Sanggamara Diraja Major-General (R) Pg. Hj Ibnu Ba'asith, Commander of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces, Pehin Dato Laila Raja Major-General Awg Hj Halbi and other high ranking personnel. Various presentations including static and exhibition showcasing artillery will be put forward involving five units of the Armed Forces as well as former army personnel.
