Teach Children Early Virtues Of Holy Quran Urges Mufti

Bandar Seri Begawan - The roles of parents are to discipline, to teach and guide their children to love the Prophet Muhammad S.A.W., his family and reading the Al-Quran.

The State Mufti, Pehin Dato Ustaz Haji Awang Abdul Aziz underlined this at a function commemorating the birthday anniversary of Prophet Muhammad S.A.W. organised by University Brunei Darussalam (UBD) yesterday.

State Mufti said an effective way to achieve this was by teaching them at an early stage.

Earlier UBD's Vice Chancellor Dr Awang Hji Ismail in his speech reminded all officers and staff of the university to dispense their duties and responsibilities according to the procedure that have been entrusted upon them.

This he said hopefully would gain them blessings from Allah the Almighty.
