Sultan Saiful Rijal Technical visits the Orchid Garden

Yesterday afternoon, a group of students from Sultan Saiful Rijal Technical College visited the Orchid Garden Hotel. The students from the Hospitality and Tourism Department were led by their lecturer Hj Syed Redzuan.

Hj Syed Redzuan said that the purpose of the visit was to expose students to the hotel industry and encourage future graduates to find employment in the hospitality sector.

He also disclosed that some of the students might go for work attachment at the Orchid Garden.

Upon arrival, students were greeted by the General Manager, Mr Mac Thomson and Mohd Iswandi, the Front Office Manager.

Mr Mac Thomson briefed the students on various aspects of the hotel, while Mohd Irwandi and his assistant Maria gave them a tour around the kitchen, restaurants, the presidential suite, fitness centre and others parts of the building.
