To create awareness and show appreciation on the importance of the defence team who maintains peace and sovereignty of the country, posters of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) were printed and will be distributed soon. The handover ceremony of the RBAF posters was held yesterday afternoon in conjunction with the 42nd birthday celebration of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces on May 31, 2003.

Present at the ceremony were representatives from the Director Personnel and Administration of Ministry of Defence, Royal Brunei Land Forces, Royal Brunei Navy, ATU DB, Royal Brunei Services Forces, Exercise Centre, representatives from the School Department of Ministry of Education and Brunei Muara, Tutong, Belait and Temburong District Departments, as well as the information officers.

The posters were handed over by the Deputy Director of Information Department, Hj Bujang bin Hj Masuud to all the recipients.

A total of 4,000 posters were printed and will be distributed to the ministries, Royal Brunei Armed Forces, and government departments as well as schools.

The poster was first published with the cooperation of the Ministry of Defence and the RBAF on May 21, 2001 in conjunction with the 40th formation of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces.
