Accident in Lumut leaves two injured

An accident involving three saloon cars on Monday evening at about 6pm in Lumut-Anduki road left two people with leg injuries. According to sources, a saloon car heading to Lumut had overtaken a car ahead of him and collided with a car on the opposite lane which was heading towards Seria. Both drivers from opposite lanes sustained leg injuries, while a driver and two other passengers escaped injury in the minor collision.

A Panaga Hospital ambulance rendered medical assistance to the injured parties and Fire Services Department officials and police were also present at the accident scene.
