High hopes of Mz Shortie
By Huraizah Ahmad

Mz Shortie at the session in Coffee Bean
Mz Shortie has once again proven
herself to be a young and talented hip-hop sensation in Brunei during
her meet-the-fans session at the Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf in Gadong
Centre Point, brought by Zeta-Ilios Event Management Company. The
pretty artiste mesmerised the audience as she strutted her stuff and
performed a few numbers like her latest called "No Mo" with
Fezz-X and "Pray" with her group by the name of Chikalo.
Shortie certainly was obviously not
short of fans as the session seemed to be packed to get her enough
fans to get to that step to fame.
However, Melline the Manager of
Embedded Productions who is also Mz Shortie's sister and Production
Manager, told the Bulletin that there is still a lot of hard work to
be done for serious recognition.
Nevertheless, the siblings are
determined to go with the flow and keep success in mind. Mz Shortie;
Fezz-X; the Executive Vice President Marketing and Administration of
Zeta-Ilios, Mohd Hadi Shafie; as well as Melline, Manager for Embedded
Productions were among those present to answer questions posed by fans
and the press.
Mz Shortie revealed to the Bullettin
that she feels joyful and relieved to finally release her first
single.
