Car enthusiasts often call for
serious diagnosis when it comes to the performance and power of their
vehicles. For this purpose, Sing Hiap Hin Keng Hwa has brought into
Brunei the first-ever, All Wheels Drive Dynamometer from Australia
Dyno Dynamics.
Yesterday morning saw the official
launch of the auto company's new branch in Jalan Gadong at the Hoe
Soon Industrial Building, along with Dynamometer technologies.
Mr Lee Ah Eng, founder of Sing Hiap
Hin Keng Hwa and son Mr Francis Lee, Mr Daniel Lee and Mr Lee Chong
Heng were all present to officiate the opening ceremony.
Hundreds of guests flocked to the
shop to check out the new dynamometer equipment and the car
accessories on display.
In Asia, Brunei is only the second
country to possess the technology after Hong Kong.
The dynamometer is famous for its
accuracy and reliability in tests. It has a wide variety of uses, such
as road testing to check the fuel system, engine performance,
radiators and cooling system amongst many other things.
At the launch, a demonstration of how
the dynamometer works was showcased. Mr John, a specialist in the
dynamometer from Australia trained the staff of Sing Hiap Hin on how
to operate the machine.
