Finance Ministry Celebrates Maulud 

Bandar Seri Begawan - The Finance Ministry and Departments under it this afternoon held a gathering commemorating the Maulud. The event was held at the Dakwah Islamiah Center.

The celebration was highlighted with a religious talk delivered by a lecturer from the Dakwah Centre. The talk touched on this year's theme: 'Negara Maju Bangsa Berilmu Berteraskan Wahyu'.

Dr Awing Haji Muhammad Hadi Zaki also mentioned the important events in the Muslim calendar especially the day Prophet Muhammad was born.

The Deputy Finance Minister Dato Awang Haji Yakub and the Permanent Secretary at the Ministry were among those who attended the function.  -- Courtesy of Radio Television Brunei
