The prize-giving ceremony for "Betupa Konica 7 Photography Contest" was held at the hall of Kampong Tanjong Maya Mosque in Tutong. This competition was organised by the mosque committee of Kampong Tanjong Maya in cooperation with PERTAMA. Seventy-one entries were submitted to find the best picture of mosques in Brunei.

The national level event was won by Awg Yakub Hj Abd Rahman, whereas Awg Shaari Hj Zunaidi managed to secure the district prize.

Both winners received cash prizes with a camera donated by the Mosque Affairs Department and Konica.

Other winners for this category were Awg Kadri Hj Mohammad and Siti Noradinah Hassan.

Meanwhile, second and third prizes for the district level went to Awg Musa Manggai and Dyg Norhani Hj Abdul Kadir.

The prizes were presented by Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Religious Affairs, Pengiran Dato Paduka Haji Yusof Pengiran Kula as the guest of honour at the event.

Also present at the ceremony was the Tutong District Officer, Awg Hepnie OKSD Abang Haji Abu Hanifah.

In addition, a cheque for $810.00 was presented by the PERTAMA Photography Club to the Chairman of the Humanitarian Fund of the People of Tanjong Maya Mosque.

This donation from Betupa Konica 7 was a show of appreciation for organising the competition.
