Health Ministry celebrates Maulud

The Ministry of Health yesterday held a ceremony to commemorate Prophet Muhammad's (PBUH) birthday at the Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Saleha Hospital (RIPAS) Sports Complex. The Minister of Health, Pehin Dato Hj Awg Abu Bakar Hj Apong was also present to grace the occasion. More than 300 officers and staff members from the Ministry of Health, as well as numerous health institutions around the nation gathered that morning. The event began with a recital of Quranic verses read by Awg Hj Zidi Hj Wasli. This was followed by opening remarks which were given by the chairperson of the event, Pg Hj Mohd Salleh Pg Hj Othman.

In his remarks, Pg Hj Mohd Salleh stated that the Health Ministry will continue to hold such events in the future, not only to increase people's awareness but also to learn from Prophet Muhammad's (PBUH) own personal traits.
