The Caring Society Gives More To The Needy 

Bandar Seri Begawan - The Brunei community is known for its sense of caring and generosity, not only for the less fortunate in the country but also for the Muslim brotherhood all over the world.

And a mosque committee has donated a sum of money to the humanitarian fund for the Palestinians.

The Takmir committee of the Mohd Bolkiah Mosque in Kampung Serusop gave the donation to the fund as part of its charitable works in assimilating the spirit of Maulidur Rasul.

More than $7000 was handed over by the imam of the mosque, Awang Haji Muslim, to the director of mosque affairs, Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Abdul Rajid yesterday.

The money was raised through a Walkathon organised by the Takmir committee in March. Contributions also came from the Muqaddam class.
